This project was cut and dry – to take a CPA firm from a small rented office basement in Brentwood and transfer it to the owners home basement. But it wasn’t just about a transfer from one location to another; it was also about creating a warm and inviting office space, and an area for personal use as well. The new basement space needed to accommodate both an office setting with a comfortable work atmosphere for the employees, along with personal storage for the homeowner. With some new lighting, paint, storage shelves, reconditioned office furniture, a few accent accessories, the basement went from dank to swank in short order – and the owner just loves it!
