Kirsten S. Kitchen and Pantry
I used to dismiss family members’ comments that my house was cluttered because I thought my busy life as a mom and hard-working professional was too demanding to keep things things spic and span all the time. I didn’t realize just how bad things had gotten until we went through the kitchen inch-by-inch. Re:Do helped me realize that I felt so much better working in an organized space as we reduced the clutter and rearranged things so they made more sense!

Kitchen before; too much junk and not enough space to cook!
Kitchen after; clean, tidy and plenty of room to work!
Fridge & stove, before; too much clutter!
Fridge & stove, after; neat, organized, clutter-free!
Fridge before; not the best use of storage on top!
Fridge after; just a fridge! Clutter-free, and not a storage unit on top!
Spice cupboard before; the sheer volume of spices was bowing the shelf! Yikes!
Spice cupboard after; still a lot, but all duplicates & expired ones are gone (see table pic below).
Pantry before; messy, cluttered, unorganized, and really difficult to find anything!
Pantry after; neater, more organized, and orderly, with like items stored together.
Dish cupboard before; lots of unnecessary items, clutter, and poorly laid out.
Dish cupboard after; clean, tidy, and pared down to just the basics.
Pots & pans cupboard, before; again, just cluttered and disorganized.
Pots & pans cupboard after; not a huge change, but enough to make it easier to get things.
Lower cupboard right of stove, before; yes, that’s a bag of plastic storage container lids...
Lower cupboard right of stove, after; we
organized things and discarded all the extra lids.
Food hoarding; so many spices, many duplicates, and a lot of them expired! Not a healthy habit!
A neat & organized kitchen, after; AAAAHHHHHHHH....! :)
